Park Myung-soo in Infinite Challenge
Infinite Challenge is the pioneer of Korean variety shows and is rightfully called the nation’s variety show due to its popularity. It was aired from April 2005 until March 2018. After 13 years of broadcast, Infinite Challenge was terminated because the lead producer stepped down from the show and all cast members followed. Park Myung-soo was given 250 nicknames by members and netizens during his appearance in Infinite Challenge. Noh Hong-chul called him “worthless elder brother” for his “useless body.” He was called “father” for his age, weak stamina and bald forehead. He acquired another nickname, “the son of the devil,” for his anger and scold towards other members for simple matters. Kim Tae-ho said that if Park Myung-soo joined Running Man, his character will disrupt the color and chemistry of the show. In the end, Park Myung-soo followed his producer’s suggestion. He regretted his decision and said that he would have had a free weekend to DJ in other countries if he had joined Running Man.
