Before debut, Keeho seemed to have been accused of racism and hate speech directed at EXO members and other idols. This occurred on September 2nd, 2020, more precisely after his teaser was released. There are people who appeared and wrote stories about him on an online forum, the people recognized him as a Twitter user with the username @busanwings and they said that the account has been posting sexual and hateful tweets directed at BTS’s Jimin and EXO members. Then, Keeho’s agency immediately talked about this and issued a statement: “Keeho was a K-Pop fan when he was studying in Canada. At that time, he and his friends made a fan account on social media. The account that is claimed to belong to Keeho is a co-owned account, and it closed in 2017. Since then, Keeho has no social media.
