Nicole Shanahan is an American attorney, professor, and CEO. She serves as the founder and president of the Bia-Echo Foundation. Shanahan is also the resident Fellow at CodeX, The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics at Stanford Law School, and Computer Science. She is also an avid researcher and writer and her current project focus on trends and projections of various applications of legal informatics to social needs. Previously, she served as a researcher for Professor Colleen Chien who served as senior advisor for intellectual property and innovation in the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy. She was born in 1985, in Oakland, United States. Shanahan stands at a height of 5 ft 6 in (Approx. 1.6 m). Shanahan was born and raised by a single mother and aunt in a poor Oakland household. Her mother is an immigrant from China. Despite such hardships, Shanahan’s mother brought her internet service when she was 11 years old so she could grow with the flourishing web world. In her spare time, Shanahan does yoga and meditation and enjoys paddle boarding, snowboarding, swimming, running, and cooking. Shanahan and Brin separated on December 15, 2021, and Brin filed for divorce on January 4, 2022, stating irreconcilable differences. On July 24, 2022, it emerged that Nicole’s divorce from Brin was as a result of an affair Nicole had with Tesla CEO, Elon Musk. Musk is the richest person in the world with an estimated net worth of $243 billion while Surgey Brin is ranked seventh with $93 billion net worth. The news of Nicole’s affair with Musk was first reported by The Daily Mail. The affair took place in December 2021 at Art Basel in Miami, and Musk at another event asked Brin for forgiveness, according to the Wall Street Journal. The affair ended the long friendship between Musk and Brin, who helped support the electric carmaker during the 2008 financial crisis. Brin instructed his advisers to sell his personal investments in Musk’s companies in recent months. He and Shanahan are currently negotiating a settlement, with Shanahan seeking more than $1 billion.
